World Entrepreneurship Day 2023.
Celebrating World Entrepreneurship Day 2023, Mr. Dheeraj Bhagat emphasized the significance of an innovative mindset in generating and implementing novel ideas. He highlighted that cultivating such a mindset fosters creativity, curiosity, and confidence, urging individuals to embark on the journey of preparing an innovative mindset. Mr. Bhagat, speaking on the occasion of the celebration organized by Shivaji Science College Congress Nagar Nagpur under the Career Katta scheme, emphasized that innovation goes beyond creating products; it involves finding new solutions and adapting to changing environments.
In his address, Mr. Bhagat acknowledged the inherent risks in startups, emphasizing the potential for failure. However, he also underscored the unique work environments they provide, with a focus on innovation and ample learning opportunities. Encouraging the pursuit of mentorship, he explained the role of mentors in providing support, advice, and guidance based on personal challenges.
Mr. Bhagat delved into the entrepreneurial vision, emphasizing that exploration and risk-taking are integral components essential for a nation's success in a competitive global marketplace. He highlighted the importance of mindset, distinguishing between Growth and Fixed mindsets. Advocating for a growth mindset, he encouraged students to believe in the potential development of their abilities through dedication and hard work.
Further, Mr. Bhagat stressed the value of creating a network, emphasizing the need for initiative in meeting and maintaining relationships with people of diverse skills. He concluded that an innovative mindset, continuous learning, and networking contribute significantly to career prospects.
The event, chaired by the in-charge Principal Prof R N Deshmukh, saw the presence of key figures including Convener of Career Katta Center Dr. Sahin K Sayyed, Convener of Alumni Association Dr. R D Urkude, and Dr. J K Gunjate. Dr. P. D. Deshmukh steered the program, and Dr. V K Kinhikar presented a vote of thanks. The gathering included professors, teaching faculties, UG and PG students, creating an enriching atmosphere for the insightful discussions.
