It is really a matter of immense pleasure for me to be the principal of Shivaji Science College, Congress Nagar, Nagpur where I embarked on teaching career in the mid-nineties. This college stands for excellence and has continuously set the highest standards. As a faculty member of this college, I witnessed its colourful journey from Five Star to ‘A+’ Grade College and a College with Potential for Excellence. We are proud of the academic ambience, faculty resources, research output and infrastructure that college provides to the students imparting science education in their chosen subjects.

Shivaji Science College is the most sought after college in Nagpur city. We feel proud to provide quality education by equipping our students with skills, confidence and a positive approach with an all round development. 

Taking into account our academic achievements, infrastructure, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities and other all round development, NAAC, Bangalore reassessed the college as ‘A+’ Grade with CGPA 3.51 in June 2017.

I took up the reins of college administration on 25th April 2019. I am quite sure that the guidance from the office bearers of the parent society, my affectionate and competent teaching staff, hard working and amicable office staff, bright and meritorious students and all other stakeholders will help me to write a never to be forgotten chapter in the history of this college.
