The undergraduate Department of Biotechnology was established in the 2005-06 academic year with an intake capacity of 80 students.
The department boasts a strong record of academic excellence and notable student progression to postgraduate studies. Students have achieved remarkable success in both curricular and co-curricular activities, participating in national and international competitions, research projects, and internships that enhance their practical skills.
Our facilities include well-equipped laboratories for plant and animal tissue culture, molecular biology, and microbiology, enabling hands-on learning and research opportunities.
