Talking Tree 

Dr. Sarang S. Dhote Assistant Professor Department of Chemistry  developed an android app that gives information about trees. This app tree itself gives information to users after scanning the QR code or by selecting the number which is assigned to each tree.

A tree gives information like its Common name, botanical name their habitat, Native place & Its medicinal applications. At last, it gives a message for tree plantation.

This is currently working in Marathi, Hindi, and English languages. Users can choose any language from these and the app is working on the selected language.

Information of 100 species of tree was stored in this app.

This concept is registered for copyright by Dr. Sarang Dhote in year 2020.

Voyage of Talking Tree

1) Sept. 2023 Tooro Botanical Garden (TBG) in Uganda has recently achieved a significant milestone with the successful development and installation of the innovative Talking Tree app. This remarkable achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Dr. Sarang Dhote, who spearheaded the app's development, and the training of local students in the art of creating such innovative applications.
