Step into the world of groundbreaking ideas and ingenious creations, where innovation meets practicality. Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Sarang S. Dhote, Incharge of the Shivaji Science Innovation and Incubation Centre, students have turned simple concepts into remarkable products that revolutionize learning, promote sustainability, and inspire creativity. From transforming waste materials into functional scientific tools to designing educational video games and eco-friendly solutions, these projects reflect the spirit of innovation and excellence. Here's a glimpse into their extraordinary achievements:
1. Craft Box Colorimeter
An incredible innovation in pedagogy, the Craft Box Colorimeter transforms a simple waste craft box into a powerful learning tool. First introduced by Mr. Sarang S. Dhote, this DIY project integrates seamlessly with smartphone applications, enabling students to grasp complex concepts like Beer-Lambert's Law effortlessly. This concept is celebrated through workshops conducted annually for undergraduate students. Ms. Shabahat Khan, a proud winner of the RTM Nagpur University Level Avishkar 2024, not only represented the university at the state level but also registered this groundbreaking idea with the Kenya Copyright Board, showcasing the global potential of student-led innovations.


2. Educational Video Games
Redefining the learning experience, Mr. Sarang S. Dhote spearheaded the development of educational video games, initially tailored for chemistry and later expanded to other subjects. With over 1,200 students engaging in these immersive games, this innovation merges education with entertainment, fostering interactive learning. Ms. Khushi Somkuwar, a standout achiever, clinched the RTM Nagpur University Level Avishkar 2024 title and proudly represented the university at the state level. Her idea has also been registered with the Kenya Copyright Board, marking a new chapter in innovative teaching methodologies.

3. Eco Bud
Inspired by the need to reduce e-waste, Ms. Sanjana Jangade, a final-year B.Sc. student, conceived "Eco Bud," an ingenious web portal for earbud users. This platform allows users to replace lost earbuds or sell individual pieces, promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness. Ms. Sanjana's innovative idea earned her the prestigious RTM Nagpur University Level Avishkar 2024 award and state-level representation. Registered with the India Copyright Board, Eco Bud is a remarkable example of student-led innovation with a real-world impact.

4. Portable Flame Photometer :
Revolutionizing the understanding of alkali metal flame tests, the Portable Flame Photometer merges pedagogy with technology. Developed by Mr. Dhote and a team of enthusiastic students, this compact device is paired with a smartphone app embedded with AI and NFC capabilities for seamless calculations. The innovation led Ms. Annya Sulakhe and Ms. Aayesha Jubeen to Gold Medal victories in the Medicine & Healthcare and Engineering & Technology categories at Avishkar 2024-25. Ms. Jubeen further represented RTMNU at the State Level Avishkar 2025.

5. Pipe Colorimeter:
Experience an innovative leap in science education with the Pipe Colorimeter, an affordable tool made from waste craft boxes and paired with a smartphone application. Introduced by Mr. Dhote, this ingenious DIY creation simplifies the complex Beer-Lambert’s Law, making it accessible to undergraduate students. Beyond being a teaching aid, this innovation has garnered recognition, with Ms. Shrushti Ninawe earning a Silver Medal in Medicine and Pharmacy at the PG level and Ms. Unnati Kadu achieving the same honor in Agriculture & Animal Husbandry at the UG level. Ms. Kadu proudly represented RTMNU at the State Level Avishkar 2024.

6. Zig-Zag Puzzle Blocks Game for Education
Transforming learning into a hands-on experience, the Zig-Zag Puzzle Blocks Game challenges students to assemble blocks containing formulas, historical events, or life science diagrams. A brainchild of Mr. Adarsh Borkar, with support from Mr. Dhote and the Shivaji Science Innovation and Incubation Centre, this game fosters creativity and retention. This collaborative consultancy service not only enriches education but also empowers learners across disciplines.

7. Advanced Water Testing Kit
Our Advanced Water Testing Kit, developed in-house, swiftly measures 15 key parameters—including Chlorides, Hardness (3 types), Alkalinity (5 types), Temperature, TDS, pH, Color, Odor, and Conductivity—within just 20 minutes. Designed for on-field efficiency, this kit has been distributed to 16 educational and environmental organizations across multiple states at a minimal cost under our Consultancy Project. With ?35,200 revenue generated and 150+ global samples analyzed, our initiative is making a lasting impact on water quality monitoring!
