The Benefits of NCC can be broadly classified into two:-

1. Defense Benefits:
Those candidates having a dream to Join Indian Armed Forces ‘C’ Certificate has the golden opportunity for them to go for SSB Interview directly .Written exam has been exempted and are called directly for SSB. More benefits for NCC.
1. CDSE (MEN):
Those candidates who have cleared his C Certificate will have the following reservations in various academics.
IMA- 13-15 Vacancies reserved for ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) Holders.
INA- 05-08 Vacancies reserved for ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing) Holders.
AFA-10-12 Vacancies reserved for “C” Certificate(Air Force Wing) Holders.
2. Special Entry for (Men & Women):OTA Chennai- 50 Vacancies for ‘C’ Certificate holders for NCC Spl. Entry (Non-Tech)
AFA Hyderabad- 10% Vacancies reserved for ‘C’ Certificate Air Wing holders in all courses.
3. For Jawan:
If a candidate wants to join the defense as as Soldier GD/clk/skt/tech/tdn cat, he will be eligible for the award of following benefits:
‘A’ cert || 05 marks (GD) || 05 marks (clk/skt/tech) || 05 marks (tdn)
‘B’ cert || 10 marks (GD) || 10 marks (clk/skt/tech) || 10 marks (tdn)
‘C’ cert: Holders of ‘C’ cert and who have participated in republic day parade will be exempted from CEE for rect sol clk /skt, sol tech and sol NA cat and will be awarded 100% marks in lieu of CEE.
2. Non Defence Benefits
Incentives:
While serving, a cadet will be entitled to the following incentives and allowances: Daily Allowance 125/- p.d., Messing Allowance 95/- p.d., Washing & Polishing 10/- p.m, Amenity, Grant 5/-, Refreshment 15/-.
Reservation:
Many Competitive exams are privileged for ‘C’ Certificate holders in terms of awarding ranks, for example candidates in companies like Indian Oil,HPCL are given weight age for NCC C Certificate.
Security Agencies:
Security agencies whether its private or Government consider NCC Cadet for security purposes also with good pay packages.

Para Training Camp:
Selected Cadets will get a chance to undergo Para jumping at PTS, Agra Along with Indian Commandos.
Adventure Course:
Mountaineering basic courses and advanced courses are also offered to cadets and others like Water Skiing/ Snow Skiing, Sailing, Scuba Diving.
Air Wings Cadets gets a chance to Fly MicroLight AirCraft as a part of their training.

Corporate Houses
NCC C Certificate Holders are required in Corporate Houses too. Big Giants like Reliance, TCS, Infosys, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil all recruit NCC C Certificate Holders and Offer them the Profile of Security Officer. The Pay Packages of a Security Officer ranges from 15-20 Lakhs Per Annum.

Benefits of NCC ‘C’ Certificate
Those who have opted NCC are provided basic training in small Arms & Parades. NCC Cadets already have an edge over other candidates going for the selection process of Indian Armed Forces.
Benefits To Ncc ‘C’ Cert Holders Have Taken Part In Rd Parade At New Delhi
NCC Cadets holding ‘C’ cert and taking part in Republic Day Parade New Delhi will now be exempted from CEE for Rect into Sol Clk/Skt/Sol Tech and Sol NA and will be awarded 100% marks in lieu of CEE. Such candidates have to pass PFT, PMT and undergo a med exam to get enrolled. Names of NCC cadets attending RD parade will be fwd to Rtg Dte by this HQ.
The NCC Cadets Welfare Society was provides following benefits:-
a.Financial assistance/relief. In case of a death during normal NCC activity, the nominee is provided a financial assistance of Rs. 4,50,000/- and in case of death in high risk activity Rs. 5 lacs. It also takes care of treatment if injury takes place during any NCC activity.
b.Scholarships. It provides yearly 1000 scholarships of Rs. 6000/- each (one time) based on academic performance. Out of total 1000 vacancies, minimum ¼ i.e. 250 scholarships are given to cadets coming from rural/disturbed areas.
c.Best Cadet awards. Based on the performance of a cadet in NCC, there are Best and 2nd Best Cadet awards constituted at the Group HQ level. The Best cadet is given an award of Rs. 3,500/- and 2nd Best Rs. 2,500/-.
2.Sahara Scholarship- Rs. 6000.
3.Chief Minister Scholarship- Rs. 6000.
4.DG, NCC Scholarship- Rs. 6000.
5.Best Cadet Cash Awards are given to two cadets from each category i.e. JD, JW, SD, SW in every Group HQ with Rs 3,000/- to each Best Cadet and Rs. 2,000/- to each 2nd Best Cadet. A total of 760 cash awards are given every year.
Bonus Marks in University Examinations:-
1. Participation in NCC for one year 5 marks
2.NCC ‘B’ certificate holder 3 marks and NCC ‘C’ certificate holder 5 marks.
3. Academic incentives?
NCC cadets have a lot of academic incentives too. NCC ‘C’ Certificate cadets take part in Republic day parade at New Delhi, they are exempted from CEE and be awarded 100 marks in lieu. Sahara India and many other top industries pick up NCC Cadets possessing ‘C’ certificates for various jobs in their companies.
