Evaluation of Attainment of Course Outcomes (COs):
The Electronics Department of the College evaluates the attainments of COs of the course. The method of evaluation of the COs is as follows.
- Attainment of COs is measured directly in terms of performance of students in end semester examination conducted by the university.
- After the declaration of university examination results, the department prepares result analysis report.
- Departments evaluate overall attainment level for all COs as following method.
In this method, the result analysis and the attainment can be calculated on students’ performance like Excellent (A), Very Good (B) Good (C) and Average (D). Here passed percentage or attainment score give a best picture of how far students have understood the course.
The level of attainment is consider as follows.
A – No. of students those who have scored >= 75 % marks.
B – No. of students those who have scored >= 60 % marks but < 75 % marks.
C – No. of students those who have scored >= 50 % marks but < 60 % marks.
D – No. of students those who have scored >= 35 % marks but < 50 % marks.
